Build a Giant Salad - A Success!

The 3rd annual "Build a Giant Salad" event at the Kimball Ridge Farmer's Market was a huge success. The salad was deemed the largest in Iowa. All salad ingredients used were donated from market vendors. KRA would like to thank Celebrity Chefs Michael Fetters and James Buchholz from Café Fit Restaurants for assisting in this event. OTHER KIMBALL RIDGE FARMER'S MARKET EVENTS:

“Family Day” at Farmers’ Market is scheduled for Saturday, July 15, from 9 to 12 Noon, featuring cucumber races and other children’s activities. Kids’ prizes are needed. All KRA members are invited to distribute promotional pieces from their businesses during this event.

The “Flower Arranging Contest” is scheduled for Saturday, August 26, and “Organs & Organics” will take place on Tuesday, September 12.
