September Board Meeting Minutes

SEPTEMBER 11, 2007

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Aram Susong, Pam St. John, L. Brent Cantrell, Laura Hand, Sharon Samec, Velda Phillips, Lisa Wall, Ron Garris, Pam Ayers, Dianne Gearhart, Craig Hoffman, Stan Hemesath,
Bob Hoppes, Merriam Lake

President Aram Susong called the meeting to order.

Minutes and Treasurer’s Report from the August 14, 2007 meeting were approved (motion by Lisa Wall and seconded by Sharon Samec for the minutes and Craig Hoffman and Bob Hoppes for the treasurer’s report).

Membership: Thompson Shoes have been solicited to join and Advanced Diagnostics will be approached.

Marketing/Website: Name badges for KRA Board members are being ordered. The gift certificates are done and the KRA brochures and the bench plaques are almost ready. There was discussion regarding some small scale landscaping near one of the benches.

Community/ Social Events: The KRA Christmas party plans will soon begin. Sharon will be soliciting board members to help. The fall cleanup is scheduled for September 29th; please volunteer to help if possible. Farmer’s market event – flower judging is today.

Chamber of Commerce: Velda invited everyone to attend the Good Morning Cedar Valley event to be held at the new Landmark Commons on September 13th.
