BUILD A GIANT SALAD - June 21st, 2005
The second annual "Build a Giant Salad" at the Kimball Ridge Farmer's market was a huge success. There were over 245 people who stopped to eat and enjoy the giant salad. The home grown ingredients were donated by fellow vendors at the Farmer's Market. Chef Tony from the Tokyo Japanese Steak House was the featured "ChopChop" artist and donated his time by slicing up all the vegetables for the giant salad. It was a huge success and we look forward to doing it again next year! |

WEST FEST - PARTNERS IN EDUCATION -
May 18th, 2005
West Fest was a success with our Partners in Education booth. There were many happy kids and parents that enjoyed the putting game, cookies and good times. Ron Garris (Garris Robert Realtors) decided to do a small golf putting game. You sink a ball, get a prize! It went over extremely well! KRA also had a drawing for different West High apparel. Stan Hemesath
(Varsity Cleaners), Dan Tovar (Flowerama), Sandy Stuber, and Angie Baish (Prudential One Realty Centre)
gave out balloons and had fun with all the kids who stopped by the booth. It was definitely the busiest the booth has ever been. Every year the booths are judged and this year KRA walked away with First place! |
